ABOUT WELL BALANCED FITNESS
Well Balanced Fitness was created to help women and teens feel confident, strong, and in control with weight lifting. This isn't about chasing perfection or following generic programs. It's about learning how your body moves, building strength with intention, and developing skills that last far beyond a single workout.
Well Balanced Fitness offers weight lifting and movement analyses with a focused, precision-based approach through personalized form analysis. You will learn exactly how to move with control and confidence. This method allows you to truly understand and master each lift creating a foundation that lasts.
Here is what is really great! This can be purely VIRTUAL. No trying to fit in training sessions, meet-ups and phone consults into your busy life.
BUT for those who prefer in-person service and live in Phoenix-East Valley, Arizona, I provide that too!

Kelsey Compton,
Owner of Well Balanced Fitness
I am a Physical Therapist with a background in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation and a lifelong passion for strength training. Since 2015, I have helped people move better, reduce injury risk and build confidence in their bodies.
Through Well Balanced Fitness, I combine my expertise in movement analysis with specialized training in functional lifting mechanics to help women and teens learn to lift and move safely and effectively. My goal is simple: teach proper form, reduce injury risk, and help every client develop the strength and confidence to succeed in the gym and beyond.
Strength training is one of the most valuable investments you can make in long-term health and performance. Building muscle isn’t just about appearance—it improves overall strength, supports healthy bone density, and enhances joint stability, all of which become increasingly important with age. Strength training has also been shown to benefit cognitive function, helping with focus, coordination, and mental resilience. Over time, these benefits compound into greater longevity and the ability to stay active and independent.
For teens, learning proper movement early creates a foundation for safe, effective training for life. For adults, it’s a powerful tool to maintain strength, prevent decline, and continue doing the activities you love.
Across all ages, one of the biggest advantages is injury prevention—whether that’s reducing the risk of strains in everyday life, staying durable in recreational workouts, or improving performance and resilience in sports.
When your body moves well and is strong, it’s far more prepared to handle whatever you ask of it.

What is a weight lifting analysis?
This is a detailed, joint-by-joint breakdown of your lifting form to identify any large or small movement patterns that may put you at increased risk of injury. These faulty movements can be limiting your lifting progression without you even knowing it.
Whether you are new to lifting or are already lifting weights, the more you learn about how your body moves, you will be able to strengthen and weightlift with effectiveness, safety and confidence.
Strong Starts for Teens!

Movements patterns and habits start at young ages. Whether your teen plays sports or not, they need to learn general physical performance.
Body composition, strength, and power are improved by weight lifting training in children, adolescents and young athletes.
Teens need a program focused on teaching proper form, safe lifting technique, and confidence with strengthening to gain a strong foundation they can carry for life.

Teen Strength & Movement Program
Train Smart. Move Better. Build Confidence.
Designed for teens ages 12-17, this program builds a strong foundation in movement, strength, and body awareness— so they can feel confident in and out of the gym.
Each athlete begins with a Movement & Posture Assessment to identify imbalances and set a clear starting point. From there, they'll move through an 8-week coaching program with guided, functional strength training sessions (2x/week, 30 minutes each), focused on proper form, injury prevention, and long-term performance.
This program is beginner-friendly and ideal for teens who want to learn "how" to work out safely and effectively, while building confidence in their abilities. Along the way, they'll receive progress check-ins and personalized feedback to keep them improving and motivated.
Coaching options include private, semi-private, and small group training, all provided in the Phoenix East Valley.
